Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 20 June 2026  ·  Effective immediately upon engagement of services

These Terms and Conditions set out the basis on which Siriwan provides family legal services to clients. By engaging our services or submitting an enquiry through our website, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms. We encourage you to read them at your own pace; if anything is unclear, please do not hesitate to ask before proceeding.

Our practice is located at 39 Chang Khlan Road, Chang Khlan, Chiang Mai 50100, Thailand. For all enquiries relating to these terms, please contact us at [email protected] or by telephone on +66 95 283 6417.

1. Our services

Siriwan provides family legal consultation and representation services to individuals and families based in or connected with Thailand. Our services are delivered in good faith, with care and sensitivity, and in accordance with applicable Thai law. The scope of each engagement is agreed with you at the outset and confirmed in writing.

We offer three principal service pathways:

2. Engagement and instructions

A formal engagement begins when we issue a written confirmation of instructions and you have accepted our terms. Until that point, any initial conversations or consultations are exploratory in nature and do not constitute a binding client relationship. We reserve the right to decline instructions where we consider this appropriate.

3. Fees and payment

Our service fees are as stated at the time of engagement and are denominated in Thai Baht (฿). Fees are payable as agreed in your written engagement confirmation. We will always make the applicable fee transparent before any chargeable work begins. For services involving third-party costs (such as court fees or official charges), these are additional and will be communicated to you in advance.

We do not apply undisclosed charges. Should the scope of work change significantly, we will discuss any fee adjustment with you before proceeding.

4. Confidentiality

We treat all information shared with us as strictly confidential. Information you provide will only be used for the purpose of delivering the services you have engaged us for and will not be disclosed to third parties without your consent, except where required by law or regulatory obligation. Our confidentiality obligations continue after the conclusion of your matter.

5. Your responsibilities

To enable us to assist you effectively, we ask that you:

We are not responsible for delays or difficulties that arise because information provided to us was incomplete or inaccurate.

6. Limitations of advice

Our advice is based on the information you share with us and the law as it stands at the time of your engagement. Legal outcomes in family matters can be influenced by many factors beyond our control, and we cannot make commitments regarding the outcome of any matter. Our counsel represents our careful professional assessment, not a commitment to any particular result.

7. Termination of engagement

Either party may end the engagement with reasonable written notice. If you choose to end the engagement, fees for work already carried out remain due. In limited circumstances — such as a breakdown in trust, a conflict of interest, or where it would be inappropriate for us to continue — we may withdraw from an engagement. In such cases, we will give you as much notice as we reasonably can and take reasonable steps to minimise any disruption to your matter.

8. Website use

The content on our website is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. Information submitted through the contact form on our website is treated with care and in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our website, you agree not to use it in any way that could cause harm, interfere with its availability, or breach applicable laws.

9. Intellectual property

All written content, documents, and materials on this website are the intellectual property of Siriwan. You may not reproduce or distribute this content without prior written permission, except for your own personal, non-commercial reference.

10. Governing law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Thailand. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms or our services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our services, practice, or applicable law. The current version will always be available on this page, with the date of the most recent revision shown at the top of this document. Continued use of our services after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
